Kalean Heath, Special Education Teacher at the Pendleton Early Learning Center

Kalean has lived in Pendleton since she was six years old and attended Sherwood, West Hills, Sunridge Middle School, and Pendleton High School.

She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University and is currently working on a master’s in General Education and Special Education at Grand Canyon University.

As for working in the Pendleton School District, Kalean said she is excited about “being here for every student every day, making a change in children’s lives, having a great work environment and feeling that I belong here as well as the students we see each and every day.”

She spends lots of time with her family, friends, and pets in her free time. She likes camping, visiting the beach, and traveling to Mexico every year.
